Anti-Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted for evaluation to Revista Científica Multidisciplinar NEXA are subject to an originality and similarity screening process as part of the measures adopted by the journal to prevent plagiarism, undisclosed self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and other practices contrary to research and publication ethics.

Before entering the academic peer-review process, manuscripts will undergo a similarity analysis using specialized tools, including Plagiarisma.Net, in order to identify potential textual matches with documents and content available from different sources.

The results obtained through similarity detection tools will be qualitatively assessed by the editorial team, taking into account the extent, nature, source, and context of the identified matches. The similarity percentage constitutes a supporting indicator for editorial assessment and does not, by itself, constitute an automatic determination of plagiarism.

The identification of plagiarism, undisclosed self-plagiarism, misappropriation of ideas or content, source manipulation, duplicate publication, or substantial unjustified similarities may result in the rejection of the manuscript. When such practices are identified after publication, the journal may take appropriate editorial action in accordance with its Code of Ethics and editorial policies, including, where applicable, the publication of corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions.

Revista Científica Multidisciplinar NEXA does not accept manuscripts that have been previously published or that are simultaneously under consideration by another journal. Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their contributions, the proper acknowledgment and citation of all sources used, and compliance with copyright requirements and other principles of academic integrity.

When legitimate similarities arise from properly attributed quotations, bibliographic references, technical terminology, institutional names, instruments, methodological procedures, or other justifiable elements, these will be considered during the editorial assessment and will not automatically be classified as plagiarism.

The journal may use additional similarity detection tools whenever necessary to complement the originality assessment of submitted manuscripts.
